ISLAND
ATTRACTIONS:
The island attractions include the
Bloedel Reserve a 150-acre international specimen garden and
wildlife habitat. The island has a public golf course, a tennis
club, equestrian trails and facilities, and is a great place for
biking, art walks, a weekly farmers market, music festivals, and
walking
trails —at historic Fort
Ward State Park, Faye
Bainbridge State Park, Battlepoint Park, Gazzam Lake, and the
Grand Forest of Bainbridge. If you are a birder, you will love
to walk the beaches and sight bald eagles, kingfishers, and a wide
variety of water birds.
LODGING:
If you are planning to visit Bainbridge, there are many bed-and-breakfasts
or hotels to choose from. It would be my pleasure to give you a
tour of the island or North Kitsap and answer any questions you
might have.
